Reporting to the Manager, Facilities, the Support Services Officer is responsible for performing assigned duties and providing support related to the facilities and fixtures administration &/or maintenance of office environments. Performance of these duties includes an inherent focus on ensuring a safe workplace.
The Support Services Officer achieves results while ensuring compliance with Department service level agreements, timeframes and standards
What will you do?
Facility Administration and / or Maintenance:
Develops relationships with landlord representatives to coordinate maintenance and/or repairs to building environment.
Coordinates maintenance and/or repairs to equipment and furnishings in alignment with established service level agreements with suppliers and/or landlord representatives and staff requests through our SMA programming.
Performs office site inspections with contractors and/or landlord representatives to ensure work performed is in accordance with service level agreements and reports deficiencies to the Manager of Facilities
Fixture Administration:
Implements work station changes identified by ergonomic assessments.
Coordinates office logistics related to move management services in collaboration with their Manager, contracted providers and equipment suppliers.
Procures fixtures, within the scope of thresholds established by the organization’s Procurement policies and procedures.
Support Service Functions:
Provides support service to all Ontario Health atHome offices. This may include the coordination of ordering/delivery of office supplies, distribution of correspondence, and processing internal and external material, equipment or corporate services supports for the Champlain offices
Office Supportive Services:
Supplies/Forms
Maintain inventory levels of all office supplies and forms
Receive/review and submit orders for RC and EC offices
Fill orders for forms from Service Providers
Fill SMA requests and replenish stock of supplies and forms for employee supply cabinets.
Mail/Courier
Receive and distribute all incoming mail and courier items / process all outgoing mail and courier items
